Apitherapy propolis spray This spray can be used both internally and externally. Internally to alleviate sore throats, inflamed gums and mouth sores & externally to heal cuts, wounds, insect bites and acne. This tincture is vulnerary (promotes tissue repair), antiseptic, astringent, and analgesic (stops pain). It also helps decreases inflammation and bleeding, and helps to stimulate ones immune system. Proprietary blend: Apitherapy raw honey, propolis, purple loosestrife* and Usnea* in pure grain alcohol (58% of total) & water. *conscientiously wildcrafted |

When you order honey, you have the option to try the 4 oz elderberry syrup, 4 oz wild cherry bark syrup, propolis spray or salve for $8 each. When you have honey in your shopping cart, proceed to checkout and you will have the option to “choose salve or syrup” before you choose your payment type.
We currently have 2 varieties of raw Apitherapy honey. You may order mixed cases of the same size jar. Just order a case of one of the varieties and in the “special instructions” box at checkout let us know how you would like the case to be split.

wild Maine blueberry Apitherapy raw honey
This honey is made by bees gathering nectar from wild blueberry blossoms in Maine. It was bottled in the summer of 2007 in Vermont, and is totally raw and unfiltered. It is liquid when it comes out of the honeycomb and crystallizes into a creamy, spreadable texture in the fall. The color of the honey is a bit darker than most of our wildflower honey, but varies slightly throughout the season. This honey is rare & delicious. The bees do not usually make “surplus” honey while they are on the blueberry “barrens” of Maine, for they use this honey to maintain their families while they are there. These flowers are smaller than the honey bee, further reducing the amount of nectar available.

heated honey
Heated honey is a by-product of raw honey extraction. The wax cappings are removed from the honey comb before the frames are run through the extractor. The wax cappings and some raw honey that is stuck to the cappings are put into the melter. These are heated and the wax rises to the top. The wax is poured off the top and the heated honey is poured from the bottom. This honey stays liquid for longer than raw honey. It is a great sweetener and can be used for cooking and baking.
